The Lynden Park Scout Group Hall is located in Stornoway Road on the edge of Lynden Park. The venue is available for general hire for activities and events and while we encourage groups to make use of the facilities, we ask that hirers remember that it is situated in a residential area and so it is not suitable for large parties.

Booking Procedure
Enquiries can be made through the form on our contacts page, or by email to lyndenparkscouts@gmail.com. Once the booking is confirmed, a LPSG Hall Hire Form and Hall Hire Insurance Agreement must be completed and returned (post or email) to the Hall Bookings Officer who will organise the keys to be available. Invoices will be sent after the function or at the end of each term.
Insurance
The Scout Association’s insurance does not extend to the provision of Insurance protection to members of the general public or an outside Organisation in relation to their property and legal liability exposure arising from the hire of our hall. Users should effect and maintain a public liability insurance policy, and if requested by LPSG produce a certificate of currency upon request.
Responsibilities of the Hirer
Please arrange pick-up and return of the keys with the Hall Bookings Officer. You will need to organise:
- Supply of your own garbage bags, tea towels, firewood
- Cleaning of the kitchen and toilets, and sweeping of the hall
- Removal of all decorations (including any staples/nails/tape/string from walls)
- Removal of any rubbish (to wheelie bins on-site for general and recyclable waste. Any rubbish surplus to that which fits in the bins is to be removed by the hirer and not left outside the hall)
Please be aware of our neighbours throughout the night regarding behaviour and excessive noise with any music to be turned off at 11pm and the property to be vacated by midnight.
